Referring to the CAS (Court of Arbitration for Sport) ruling of 15 January 2021 which annulled the various decisions proclaiming the results of the elections of the president and members of the departmental and regional leagues and of the executive committee of the FECAFOOT, FIFA has just, in undiplomatic terms, aggravated the humiliation by mentioning the following in its correspondence dated 16 January addressed to the general secretary of FECAFOOT:

The USA has just given a formidable lesson of democracy to dictatorships and more precisely to Cameroon. The strength of the institutions has triumphed over the attempt to personalize power as it is prevalent in the banana republics .

The judiciary, the army, the republican governors of the federated states, almost all the civil servants of the Trump administration as well as several elected members of the Republican Party to which President Trump belongs have systematically refused to obey the latter's injunctions. For democracy to triumph.

These are the positive lessons to be drawn from recent events in the United States.

The Social Democratic Front (SDF) is devastated by the carnage perpetuated on young children in their classrooms in Kumba today, in search of knowledge. Innocent students killed and mutilated during classes by armed groups who have as their lone agenda, terrorism.

The SDF condemns in the strongest possible terms this barbaric terrorist attack on innocent children and calls on the perpetrators to be punished accordingly. These terrorists are well known to many as well as all those enjoying the fall out of this dirty war are known as well.

After four blank academic years, a couple of completely lost generations and an educational gap burden that will certainly hunt Cameroonians for the next decades, schools showed encouraging signs of resumption in the North West and South West regions for this academic year. These marauders are trying in vain to mortgage the future of our country by perpetrating such inhumane acts. As a people, we must not yield. Following this e
