This week, the Social Democratic Front mourns the death of young Ndialle Caro Louise, whose life was snuffed out by excessive police force, an incident that has left the SDF family and the entire nation deeply angered and heartbroken. We also share the pain of the family of the gendarme officer lynched to death by the angry crowd. Both were very sad, and unfortunate Incidents that were avoidable. At the same time, these are strong reminders of the need for an end to Violence and a return to peace In the Northwest and Southwest regions.

Honorable FUSI Wilfred NAAMUKONG, former SDF Member of the Cameroonian Parliament for the Bafut Tubah constituency (North West Region), has been kidnapped this evening in Bamenda by unidentified armed individuals. It was during during the burial ceremony of his wife in Bamenda.
The terrible news was announced this evening by Jean Robert WAFO, Minister of the SDF shadow cabinet in charge of information and media.
The Cameroonian authorities have so far given no news, while the kidnappers have not yet made any demands for his release.
In a service note dated march 25, 2020, the Director of the Yaounde Emergency Centre (CURY) informs the staff of the said Centre of the "availability of vaccines against Covid-19" and invites all heads of departments to "provide him within 48 hours with the lists of personnel volunteering for vaccination against Covid-19".
The fact that the vaccines are "available" means that they have already arrived in Cameroon and are stored in specific locations. Hence the following questions, if this service note is true:
- What is the date of arrival of these vaccines in Cameroon?
- What brand of vaccine are they?
- What are the distribution criteria?
In a press statement issued this morning, the Secretary General of the SDF firmly reminded "militants, elected officials and leaders" of the SDF that "any debate on the life of the party must be conducted internally, within the appropriate bodies, and strictly in accordance with the provisions of our texts" and warned that "any display of internal differences within the party in the media and in the public square will henceforth be considered as a deliberate attempt to destroy the party and demobilize its militants".

I am shocked and surprised by this dark initiative which will only add fire to a crisis which has festered for too long in the North West and South West Regions.
Its surprising because this petition comes long after the SDF, since 2016, through Hon. Joseph Wirba’s voice on the rostrum of the National Assembly, had drawn local and international attention to the Anglophone Problem, after which SDF parliamentarians severally tried in vain to inscribe the Anglophone issue on the agenda of successive parliamentary sessions.
